​​​​​Brief
Generate awareness of the Microsoft Store on Mixer, the Microsoft owned website for video game streamers.
​​​​​​​Concept
Recruit Mixer streamers to celebrate #NationalDonutDay by burning donuts in Forza Horizon 4, a title published by Xbox Game Studios, and award viewers with Microsoft Store gift codes throughout the stream.
Custom Mixer Stickers
Mixer allows streamers to upload custom stickers which viewers can then spend Sparks (the platform currency) on to add into the live chat feed.
The Box o' Donuts
The biggest challenge of this project was injecting the Microsoft and owned brands in a way that felt natural. One way we achieved this was by designing a custom livery for our Streamers to apply in-game.
And Beyond
The custom livery served double duty by allowing us to continue the activation after the stream had ended. Once it was shared publicly, Forza Horizon 4 players were free download and share their own captures with us online.
